No sooner had I taken my heels off from playing Lola when I was approached to take part in the town’s annual pantomime. The opportunity to play the snide and snivelling Sheriff of Nottingham was just too good to resist.

 

It was also my first time in a pantomime and such a great chance to see the more informal approach in that type of performance. Rather than just perform to the audience there was created a real interactive relationship with them. It was fun to break the 4th wall albeit at the expense of a lot of boos!!
